Registration Instructions
Use the link under 'Registration' to register in TeamLinkt. Choose the appropriate package based on your child's birth year. If this is your first year in minor hockey please attach your player's birth certificate for proof of age.
Every family is required to choose a fundraising package. Choices are either $150 for a fundraising package or a $250 fundraising opt out fee. The opt out fee only applies to association fundraising and not team fundraising.
Returning players MUST register before July 31st. Registrations after this point will have a $250 late fee.
New members must complete The Shift Forward course before registration. It is a fee of $11.50. Returning members- your Respect in Sport Parent is valid until its expiry date (four years after completion). Once expired, you will need to take The Shift Forward course. Registration is done through Spordle - see the link below.
The Shift Forward
The tryout package is for players who are trying out for AA/AAA. It is a $100 fee to be registered in your home association prior to attending those tryouts. Registration fees can be adjusted after tryouts if the player returns to Barrhead.

New Members Only
For participants who have never been registered in a Hockey Canada sanctioned program before:
- Create Spordle Account (see attached instructions)
- Create HCR Profile (see attached instructions)
- Complete The Shift Forward course. Register in HCR.
Transfers
Players requesting to transfer to Barrhead or out of Barrhead association must email registrar@barrheadminorhockey.com and president@barrheadminorhockey.com. Movement forms can be found on the Hockey Alberta website here.
Players who have moved to Barrhead from out of province must complete the Hockey Alberta Declaration Form - please add registrar@barrheadminorhockey.com as the email address for the MHA for which the player is registering.
HCR 3.0
Parents must create HCR 3.0 accounts to sign Hockey Canada Critical Waivers. Please wait until June 1st to sign these off. You may already have an HCR 3.0 account if you have registered for coach clinics, referee clinics, previously signed critical waivers or if you have registered a new player in the last two years. See instructions here on how to sign in/create an account.

In the upper right hand side click 'Login'
Either sign in or 'sign up' if you don't have an account
Once you are logged in click on 'Members' on the left hand side
Click the + sign at the top
Enter your player information and click 'Link New Profile'
Your player should show up with an HCR number
Select this profile and click 'Let's Validate'
Repeat for all your children
Return to the Dashboard (click Dashboard on left hand side)
To sign off critical waivers: You will see a section that says 'To do'
Click on this and sign the applicable waivers
